M. Sabri KOCAKÜLAH Prof. Dr., Balıkesir University He specializes in physics and science education. He received his bachelor's degree in Physics Teaching from Uludağ University, Necatibey Faculty of Education and his master's degree from Balıkesir University. He completed his PhD in science education at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom in 1999. Prof. Dr. M. Sabri KOCAKÜLAH worked as a research assistant at Balıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education, Department of Physics Education between 1995-1999, as Assist. Prof. Dr. between 2000-2011, as Assoc. Prof. Dr. between 2011-2016 at the Department of Science Education of the same faculty, and has been working as Prof. Dr. in the same department since 2016. The author has conducted studies on conceptual understanding and conceptual change in physics education and science education, computer and technology supported science/physics education, meaning making and the effect of instructional designs enriched with multiple representations on the conceptual and affective (motivation, self-efficacy, metacognition, attitude, etc.) development of middle school, high school and university students. |

Oğuz ÖZDEMİR Prof. Dr., Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University He was born in 1969 in Çorum. He completed his primary and secondary education in Çorum and high school education in Ankara. In 1991, he graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education, Department of Biology Teaching. He worked as a science and biology teacher in Konya and Ankara between 1991-2004. He received the title of science specialist with his master's thesis on “The Effect of Story as a Literary Genre on Environmental Sensitivity” in Ankara University Institute of Educational Sciences Education Program (Fine Arts Education). He completed his doctoral studies at the same university between 1999-2003 at the Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Social Sciences and Environment. He received the title of Dr. with his doctoral thesis on “The Effects of GMOs on the Natural Environment and their Evaluation in terms of the European Union”. In 2004, he left teaching and started academic life. Between 2004-2006, he worked at On dokuz Mayıs University Sinop Faculty of Education. He became Associate Professor of Biology Education in June 2012 and Professor in 2022. He conducted research in Germany and England with the support of TÜBİTAK. Since 2006, he has been working as a faculty member at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Education, Department of Science Teaching. Biology / Science education; environment / sustainability education are among her academic interests. He is the founding president of the Sustainable Life Education Association (Sürdürülebilir Yaşam Eğitimi Derneği) (suyed.com). |

Özgül KELEŞ Prof. Dr., Aksaray University Prof. Dr. KELEŞ received his bachelor's degree from Gazi University, Department of Science Education in 2001. She completed her master's degree in 2003 and her doctorate degree in Science Education at Gazi University in 2007. She worked as a science teacher between 2002-2008 and also took part in the writing of science and technology textbooks. She worked as a doctoral faculty member at Aksaray University Faculty of Education between 2008-2012, obtained the title of associate professor doctor between 2012-2018 and has been working as a professor doctor since 2018. In addition, in 2014, she was a guest researcher at the “Center for Sustainable Futures” Center at Plymouth University with the foreign research support of the Council of Higher Education. Between 2018-2021, she served as the Dean of Aksaray University Faculty of Education. Prof. Dr. KELEŞ has national and international projects (European Union / Tübitak), books, seminars and publications on education for sustainable development, ecological footprint, environmental education, science education and teacher education. |

Burcu GÜNGÖR CABBAR Assoc. Prof. Dr., Balıkesir University Balıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education, MFBE Department Biology Teaching Program faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Güngör Cabbar works on sustainability education, soil education, climate change, biology education, systems thinking in education. Güngör Cabbar, who worked as an expert trainer at the Teacher Academy Foundation between 2010-2015 and as the vice president of TEMA Foundation Education Department between 2015-2017, is involved in various environmental projects for prospective teachers, teachers and students. She continues to work actively in Learning Enthusiasts Education Cooperative, System Thinking in Education Association, Sustainable Development and Environment Association. |

Gaye Defne CEYHAN Asst. Prof. Dr., Boğaziçi University Dr. Gaye Defne Ceyhan, a faculty member of Boğaziçi University Science Education Program, conducts studies and provides trainings on systems thinking in education, climate change and sustainability education. Dr. Ceyhan is active in Science Education and Research Association (FEAD), International System Dynamics Association and Systems Thinking in Education Association. She is also a teacher education chapter editor for the Handbook of Climate Change Research in Transdisciplinary Education to be published in Springer Nature. |

Ünal ÇAKIROĞLU Prof. Dr., Trabzon Üniversitesi He was born in Trabzon. After completing his primary and secondary education in Trabzon, he completed his undergraduate education at Ege University, Department of Computer Engineering in 1997. He completed his master's degree on “Comprehension in Natural Language Processing” at Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Computer Engineering. He received his doctorate degree from the Department of Mathematics Education, Department of Secondary Science and Mathematics Areas of the same university with his doctoral thesis on “Using Learning Objects in Mathematics Teaching Process”. In 1999, he started his academic career as a lecturer at Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology Education and he is currently a professor at Trabzon University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology. Dr. Çakıroğlu conducts academic studies in the fields of technology integration in education, computer science education, distance education, and artificial intelligence applications in education. In this context, he is the author of many international articles and books in the fields of educational technology and computer science education and has directed many master's and doctoral thesis studies. Dr. Çakıroğlu's recent studies focus on the integration of artificial intelligence in higher education. Dr. Çakıroğlu is married and has two children and speaks English. Mehmet Barış HORZUM Prof. Dr., Sakarya Üniversitesi In 2001, he graduated from Sakarya University Faculty of Education and started to work as a research assistant in the same year. In 2003, he completed his master's degree at SAU Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies and in 2007, he completed his doctorate in Educational Technology at Ankara University, Institute of Educational Sciences. He worked as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education at SAU, and in 2012, he conducted research at Heidelberg University of Education in Germany for 9 months. She is currently working in the Department of Data Science & Analytics, Faculty of Computer Informatics, Sakarya University, where she is working in the fields of instructional technologies and artificial intelligence-supported education. She conducts academic research on artificial intelligence, learning analytics and digital education solutions and is involved in national and international projects. Within the scope of Erasmus Teacher Academies and KA2 projects, she is involved in projects on teacher training and the development of artificial intelligence-based learning environments. Studies are ongoing within the scope of TUBITAK 1001 project to improve the artificial intelligence competencies of secondary school information technology teachers. In addition, in another TUBITAK 1001 project, the Distance Education Platform (UZEP (Uzaktan Eğitim Platformu)) developed by Sakarya University was worked on and contributed to the development and dissemination of the platform. Özcan Erkan AKGÜN Prof. Dr., İbn Haldun Üniversitesi In 1999, he won the Council of Higher Education Faculty Member Training Program. After receiving language education at METU Foreign Language Preparatory School, he completed his Master's Degree Program in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology at Ankara University, Institute of Educational Sciences in 2002 and his PhD Program in the same department in 2005. Between 2006 and 2015, he started to work as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology at Sakarya University, Faculty of Education and served as vice chairman of the department, department commissions and coordinators. During these years, he actively took part in the commissions of both the University and the Faculty related to education and quality. He worked in the science committee of Sakarya University Development Foundation Schools (kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school) for one year (2008) and as the Deputy General Coordinator of the school for one year (2009). Between 2010 and 2015, he worked as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences since its establishment (except for one year abroad). In 2011-2012 academic year, she worked at Texas A&M University, Faculty of Education and Human Development and also at AGGIE-STEM Project Center. In November 2015, he started working at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Faculty of Educational Sciences. Until 2018, he served as the Head of the Department of Computer Education. Between 2016 - 2020, he worked as the Director of the Distance Education Application and Research Center and handed over the duty to his friend who was part of the team he established. Between 2017 and 2021, he continued his duty as the Vice Dean. He works in the boards and commissions related to the university's education and training processes. In 2023, he started working as a faculty member at Ibn Haldun University, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational Sciences. He continues to serve as Vice Rector and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the same university. He has completed projects, articles, papers, books and book chapters on instructional design, learning development, e-learning, distance education, technology (especially artificial intelligence) integration in education, STEM, competencies in higher education, accreditation, effective learning-teaching and learning motivation. |
